Limited-Income Energy Assistance Program
Volunteer
SEAC processes applications for
the Illinois Low Income Home, Energy Assistance Program which
allots funds to help applicants pay their gas and electric
bills. SEAC processes more than 3000 applications each year
in addition to continuing its regular programs, which present
a large workload for the regular staff. Volunteers help by
photocopying documents, filling out applications, entering
data and following-up cases.
